I work from home with a 4 screen setup 1 is pretty much a TV. I can’t imagine anyone watching SportsCenter for a host…when there’s so much better content out there.
The few times I watched SVP’s podcast, it’s confirmation a lot of these aren’t that skilled and backed by a major brand.
Colin Cowherd, SAS, Dan Patrick, Shannon Sharpe, Gil, Ryan Clarke, Nick Wright, and Cam Newton are the few in the space that don’t need a major brand for views.

If ESPN was smart they would change their model and fire all hosts.
US a CGI created host or hosts, drop the talk shows and personnel on tv, move that to radio and internet, the cable channels should have updates every 10 minutes daily of sports news and highlights guided by internet highlights, show higlights based on what people want to see online traffic to the site, youtube, tiktok, instagram and etc.
You same a shyt load of money on "talent" as they dont get a national highlight. You force Stephen A to be on everything as much as possible until he quits the contract if not work him til he dies. I mean you can make as many sexy women as you want to get guys to watch and you will no longer have to worry about sexual harassment or anything, or pay increases or aging.
