Baseball doesn't move the needle like it used to back in the day. Also, I don't think most Americans want to claim a foreign born player as one of the best players in the game even through he has shown that he is .

They've trained the audience not to care about baseball & hockey, but if they're not going to grow their audience while ignoring huge sports.

They gotta talk more boxing/MMA, too.

Just talking Lebron/Cowboys/Yankes may temporarily get them a ratings boost, but it's short term & it doesn't grow the audience.

-The fact that Cam’ron has the most entertaining baseball show isn’t on ESPN. It’s on MLB themselves not being inclusive and shunning any culture outside of basic whiteness.
