RIP to LA Capone. This young breh died way too soon. Of all the Chicago drill rappers, he definitely had the most talent and charisma to become very successful. No one else in Chicago comes close. I'm not even into Drill rap at all, but I recognize a gift, and he had it. Play For Keeps is hard as fukk.
K. That's great. But what do you know about me or my background specifically ? Not one thing - other than my taste in music and where I'm from.
It's really not that serious to me b.. if I hear something that I like, I listen to it. Real simple - entertainment purposes only.
My focus is on other more viable issues, causes and situations. You can't assess me from behind a keyboard.
I'm a grown ass woman - I listen to what the fuk I want to. Went to college, received my education, kept my head in the books and went on to other career opportunities while taking care of my family responsibilities.
At this phase in my life - if I need to decompress and have a musical outlet, that's who I gravitate to, people in my town and NY rappers.
I know a lot of what's going down "in the streets" for various reasons, no headfake necessary - you can't speak on what you don't know, only a fool would try to.
Facts. but I wouldn't say just him- Young Pappy (rip) was very talented to , as far as a comparison. The Chicago guys are more aggressive with their delivery while the London cats are more smooth but deadly with it.
And what's considered drill in Chicago is much more diverse while NY and the UK cultivated an actual drill sound (which still draws from DJ L and even DJ Ken style beats).

The way I see it Brooklyn is on some drill, diss the oops, gang bang shyt except for Jay Critch and Joey Badass and em a lot of they artist have potential and some like Sheff G and 22G’z are maturing. Uptown is more on a melodic and/or traditional wave, a guy like Neek Bucks can spit pain over a soul sample or croon melodically. The artistry on our side is just taken more seriously.
