When I was child, I knew there was difference watching a happy meal on tv vs ordering one in person. But who knew that’s advertisers use strategic methods to get the perfect shot?

White glue instead of actual milk

Aunt Jemima or Miss buttleworth will use motor oil instead of the maple syrup advertised. We all know pancakes absorbs syrup quickly but imagine being on set and you have to shoot the perfect photo of pancakes. It’s too much due to the lighting, etc. so they’ll use oil instead

Boot polish on burgers to make a charred look? @The Burger King :scust:

Got potatoes? How about Icecream? Advertisers will use mash potatoes with coloring, sprinkles because we all know ice cream melts fast especially under the lighting @ 0:33
