Michael Slager, the South Carolina cop who shot Walter Scott eight times during a traffic stop for a non-working tail light, was denied bail Tuesday after being charged with murder. He appeared before a judge via videolink.

The North Charleston officer, 33-year-old Michael T. Slager, maintains he feared for his life during the Saturday traffic stop in a statement released earlier this week by his attorney. According to the statement, Slager stopped Walter Scott’sMercedes-Benz sedan after he noticed the 50-year-old had a broken brake light. During the encounter, Scott allegedly took the officer’s Taser and ran from him. That’s when Slager fired his gun eight times. But video shows a different story

The judge is black such sweet karma. His lawyer left him, the union dropped him, as of it couldn't get any worse for this peice of shyt the universe always has a plan :banderas:

Just because the judge is black we shouldn't assume they'd be on our side. Don't forget the black policeman who tried to cover for him.

Anyway black or white judge I can't see him getting away with this. He's definitely going down.

True.. but the judge being black is def worst case scenario imo. Yeah the black cop who tried to cover for him is :mindblown:

This guy told the judge that he has 2 step kid's and one on the way. Well yu should've thought of that encore you emptied a magazine on a mans back. And since he was wanted for child support payments, the victim has children too? Didn't he ever think of them ? He went out of his way to kill him s mfh

Very possible, but it won't be because he was in the right. We know a Jury of his peers are not likely to convict one of their peers, it goes against there sensibilities. They really feel its okay to police brutality and kill to maintain the power structure. After Zimmerman killed a 17 year old kid, his character witnesses talked about him like he was a hero.

But I don't see him skating on a Civil Rights charge that both Zimmerman and Darren Wilson were able to avoid. The law does not support him using deadly force, the supreme court already ruled on it in 1985.
