In my own experiences 85% of black women, if not more, watch Scandal and VH1 reality shows no matter how upscale or hood they are.. they all watch that sh*t religiously. I pretty much only f*ck with black women so you just have to accept and move past it

The most popular novels among females is erotica, the most popular novels among black females is interracial erotica. I think you and I both know while it's obvious I don't aspire to be a drug dealer, I have an interest into that aspect of our culture for The Wire.

Black women have an interest in that genre, that's why they watch it. Scandal just sucks, but our female counterparts can't see that because they eat that shyt up.

We are talking about TV shows and Scandal is not erotica. Scandal sucks (to you) and literally millions of white, asian, and other people can't see it either (those are the people who make up the majority of the viewership).

Kerry is fine and talented. I'm glad she's in a high profile role, but I find it disturbing that black women love them some olivia pope and look up to her like she's some type of role model. Unless I'm wrong and that's not the premise of the show.
