Norfeast groovin…
I start my mornings with songs like this:

.....as long as you stick with the classics and listen to a few of the elite new rappers then you shouldn't have a problem. Oh, and expand your tastes too cuz you can't always listen to rap.

I feel the same way at times.. It's called becoming a man.. The Bible says that when you grow old you should move away from foolish things...The majority of hip hop is men children talking about trivial shallow sh1t in the most elementary ways possible...Once you gain more experiences and perspective there would be something wrong with you if you didn't lose interest...

It used to be an obsession now its just a distraction...

Sometimes i don't know if people are serious with some of these rappers, Future, Trinidad james, chief keef, they are all terrible.

Maybe i'm just out of touch & stuck in my ways because even the supposed ''real hiphop'' that cole & kendrick put out i find to be very mediocre.

I don't find rap any more immature than other genres. The vast majority of rock/indie songs are about girls. Some are about partying. Even writers like Dylan moved away from political stuff and basically wrote about relationships for 2 decades.

Personally, I just go through phases- sometimes I am feeling sensitive, introspective stuff. Other times I feel aggressive. Rap is just one of many genres, sometimes it fits my mood and other time I am on some other shyt.

I'm finding that I'm getting bored with all these n1kkas albums after 3rd and 4th listen. Nothing is even exciting me any more. All these latest releases including MCHG just ain't doing it for me. Wale, Cole yeah they have moments but I never find myself wanting to put there albums on I just keep everything on random. I hope I'm not growing out of the genre but I jus don't care anymore not even anticipating nothin that's coming out or rhe garbage award shows. I wanna like it like I used to but i just don't and find myself listening to older sh1t all the time and enjoying it. No lie u enjoy the Coli more than the actual music y'all discuss nowdays.

There's so much dope music out there breh

What did you think of Durag Dynasty?

How about Habits & Contradictions?

Mista Thug Isolation?

Reloaded?

Rugby Thompson?

How would you rate Brotha Lynch's recent trilogy of albums?

Thoughts on Currency's discography?

Opinion on Freddie Gibbs skills level?

Cuz to me it still looks like you only listened to only mainstream shyt.

Did you check out:

Elzhi
Black Milk
Big KRIT
Killer Mike
Slaughterhouse
Ab Soul
Tech N9ne in fact strange music label in general

I know where to find and have heard a few of the albums u mentioned. I'm from the Bay and I know Lynch personally and I hated the trilogy sh1ts wack compared to his first 3 albums. Never liked Currency music at all it all sounds the same. Haven't heard all of ESGN but I have heard I liked a lil bit nothing that stands out.

I like Elzhi last couple projects. I liked slaughterhouse underground sh1t and the first album, second album on Shady was :trash: I have a few Tech 9 albums and sometimes his subject matter sucks to me but dude can rap especially when he messes wit Northern Cali artists. Killer Mikes okay wasn't to e cited bout his newest release and Ab Soul is the weakest artist in Top Dawg ent. Man I really listen to everything from main stream to underground. I'm probably one of the biggest hip hop heads in the Coli. None if the sh1t u mentioned is changing the way I feel bout rap at this point and I hate to say that. I'm from the bay bruh we love the underdogs in rap, that's who we are out here.

Then take a break from rap then and check out other genres and then come back.

It will have you viewing rap in a different way. :salute:

In fact once I made rap one of the genres I listen to and not the only one I never got bored of it cuz I had different genres to go back and forth to so I never got bored compared to back when I used to stay on one genre.

Try it b.
