All bullshyt aside this is really sad and pathetic that an artist of this importance and magnitude has been treated like this his whole career. I mean nas may have been getting raped early in his career but he got from up under that. Snoop, cube, mad legendary rappers have had label issues and what not but this nicca is 45 years old with a stellar 20+ year career in the industry and he's still under this mans thumb? That shyt ain't right. This face yall. He may have his faults but damn our culture's icons can't be slaves like this. Face should have had his own label by like '98. And I don't mean president of some bullshyt sub label like def jam south I mean his own label!

not everyone needs to have or run their own label. something tells me Face is first and foremost an ARTIST and he wouldn't or couldn't be bothered doing the shyt that's involved with running a label. he has talked about it in a few interviews recently, about how he has to do so much work now because he's indy. i don't know what he actually did at Def Jam South but he was probably a talent scout more than anything and a figurehead to make it look like they were being good to the south.

J Prince is the devil, fukk the Suge Knight documentary, make one on J prince. Then the director can sign up for the witness protection program and move to Dominican Republic under the name "Julio Valentine"

I heard Nas had a better deal than most artists getting signed at that time.

Every time I see Face now, he looks like a university professor that teaches classes on the Jungle Brothers discography.

:dead:

He literally just did an interview on The All Out Show on Shade45 this week that had this little rant about how hes a Hip Hop scientist and how he knows *
