Not saying this is the scariest, but it is probably one most have not seen. Movie creeped me the fukk out and it's available on Netflix instant.

This isn't for you if you have a short attention span and are interested in over the the top gore.

Was The Orphanage scary?

I think I need to pop it in and watch it again. I remember it being a great movie, but can't remember if it had me :damn:

The Shining is still one of the best.
The Exorcist
I will always have Poltergeist rated up there
Stir of Echoes - not really scary, but it does have an eerie feel to it.
The Ring was pretty good as a modern horror
The Serpent and the Rainbow is one that everyone should see.

The exorcist was scary and shocking by 70s standards just like faces of death was "shocking" by 70s standards. It doesn't do much now a days when you can see real be headings and not some fake shyt done for shock value.. My dilemma is I'm rarely afraid of horror movies so I stick to comedy horrors like the reanimator, night of the comet, evil dead, army of darkness, cabin in the woods, etc..

i might be in the minority but i remember poltergeist 2 being way more scary to me as a child.. that old man :to:

Poltergeist+1.jpg

That old man looked like death himself. When i found out he acted in the movie while being terminally ill i was like :krs:

Not to mention all the weird shyt that happened to the people who participated in that movie
