to the places they filmed the og movie at when i was like 7...rich right around austin...they fukked all of our heads up..

they went all out for this shyt..too...had a car with dried up ketchup all over the back seat n the window busted out..

had a fake leatherface...and everything...

i developed asthma and a heart murmur that day

Man insidious was a HORRIBLE fukking movie. Complete trash. The monster was laughable at best, and only good parts of the movie came before the monster and storyline was revealed. I was more shocked to find out astral projection is a real thing. Like why would you want your soul to leave your body again?!?!?!?

I also knew a girl so frightened of this movie that you could hum "Time is On My Side" and she'd literally cry and beg you to stop.

anyways for me scariest flick is without doubt "The Exorcism of Emily Rose".



the fact that you don't actually ever SEE the antagonist and that the flick is so "cerebral" in the way it goes for scares is what makes it #1 imo... my imagination is 1000000 X worse than what any screenwriter can come up with for a "monster" unfortunately.

i didn't sleep right for a few WEEKS after watching this sh*t...not to mention i started waking up @ 3am everynight after watching it.
when she ran into the barn like a bag of cats let loose and started rattling off demons names

the best one shot sci-fi creature feature ever made.
this movie is far from horror,..this is just top in its class, all time.
