The Wayans hadn’t been involved with it since Scary Movie 2 (2001). Hence why it’s lost steam. I remember Scary Movie 2 being funny, but I’ve never seen the others.

Watching the trailer I see some potential if the satire comedy is more along the lines of the office / Abbott elementary type and not poot farther clown silliness some of the other movies resorted to.
