If he'd take anywhere between 5-7 mil a year, he'd look good in orange and black. This secondary is getting old now. Could be the spark they need to stay on top. Don't like his fukking mouth though and never will.

Paying a corner 15mil is a recipe for disaster. A lot of NFL GM's are dumbasses, there is a reason the Jets told Revis to kick rocks. I'll take an Elite Safety, Linebacker or DT over a Elite corner every day of the week

See you were talking about corners in general before, now you're just talking about Revis and his outrageous contract. Yes Revis is overpaid, but other corners with more reasonable contracts are not. If you can shut down a reciever and damn near take him out of the game like Sherman did to Decker in the SB, that's valuble.

At the end of the day Revis doesn't create turnovers/big plays....which is why teams are shying away imo. 16 mill for a guy to cover one guy is absurdly silly.
The Jets raped the Bucs on this. But Revis kinda knew what he was doing basically taking a one year deal. He's not worth 16 mill(and never was) but he can basically negotiate another new deal again with a better team....hell he can play on one year deals for the rest of his career bouncing around the league.
