outside of boy in da corner, sets/bootlegs/war dubs were the best thing about grime and its rappers

this is one of the best examples i've seen someone try to make a video that caught in essence what grime is....a bunch of angry teenagers making fucced up music...basically, back in the day, beign a grime mc meant you was either a nutter, a character or both

fair enough, but if someone asks me to skool them on grime, im gonna give him the best version of it, which is sets....easily. there were about 5 truly great grime albums dver made...there are easily 40-50 sets that are truly great
and i posted flippy smallz sets over slimzee and mak 10 sets because flippys sets were the best...have you ever listened to one of his sets? lol...see, generic choices again. i would post a lady b-line/flirta d set before a slimzee set
and there is no bloodclarrt way in hell he would find sets through listening to albums/mixtapes...theyre opposite sides of the coin

and yes you can work your way through albums to sets, if he really wants to find more of the person he has taken interest to, youtube will show him, you see he mentioned scorcher? now he can work hes way through everything scorcher had been involved in, all LA has to do is type "scorcher grime" and loads of stuff will pop up

and how can you tell me, sets aren't the best work grime produced...do you even get grime? grime was never built to be album music...hence why there were only a few truly great albums.

radio sets are normal, a few radio bars are not work, i never said anything bad about sets, i said 16 bars, sonny jim.
and if you really want to know im more of an album guy myself when it comes to everything thats why i posted names of them, you know some people just like listening to hot97 freestyles, right?
and some people dont get sets, i dont know if LA is into dancehall/rave culture, ask him, thats why i didnt post them cause everyone comes across them on their own
when it comes to grime you can never question me breh, you see where im from, ive been around it all, been to school and college with some of these guys, been to radio sets, and still raving it up in da club, some people need baby spooning, aint nothing wrong with that, like i said we can be here nameing dj's and the best radio sets in our opinions, if la fisher wants more
