Kanye has never really been a good feature if it's too far out of his comfort zone. Few artists are, like Drake and Jay-z. If it's about some real shyt and the beat is Kanyefied, he usually kills it. Even the best emcee out, Kendrick, has problems if he can't add a bunch of voice effects, edit the beat and its outside of his comfort zone. On tracks like fukking Problems where he sounded like an off brand old head trying to fit in with the new school.
