You need a damn flowchart and encyclopedia to stay up on the hood politics in some areas. I grew up in Mansfield GC hood, shyt was alot less complicated.

When Q was on The Breakfast Club, and i think it was Yee who asked him about how things work out with him and Jay Rock being from different hoods....and how she went with Jay to a party in the Hoovers and he was the entire time.

He got like 20 seconds into explaining how his hood gets along with bloods more than most crip sets would, the subsets and how not all of them are crips anymore.....and they are were like

yeah Q tried to explain the Hoover/Crip/Blood difference and the politics, got half way through explaining it and realized they had no idea what he was talking about and left it at that.

Essentially Crip is a meaningless name with different Crip alliances vs other Crip alliances with Bloods and Hoovers mixed in.
