none but nikkaz one the net was checkin for kdot heavy on the net, and alot of people check they crew out also, dude had compilation mixtape wit all tde dudes on it and people was downloading them on datpiff

and rocky wasnt bigger at the time, section 80 came out in that summer and got major praise, and by the end of the year the indepent album had damn near sold 70k, asap buzz got big around october or some shyt, but kendrick was looked at being nice and being talked about

no, he wasn't.. rocky had more hype and buzz 2011-2012 before kendrick did. yes, kendrick had a cult following, but rocky was bigger up until the summer.

ASAP whole buzz was on the net. Just because there were Threads about TDE doesnt mean he was bigger than ASAP at that time. What single did TDE have at that time that was bigger than Purple Swag and Peso?

kendrick had a cult following and some co signs and people behind him to help push him but he wasn't bigger at the time. the fact that he put out gkmc under interscope and had a real backing to put out a quality cohesive album of that nature and get a push is why he exploded. kendrick didnt get a buzz or start getting big until the summer or when he dropped gkmc and it got a ton of positive reviews and people talking great about it.
