the 2nd half is MUCH stronger than the awful first.. i like 7 of the 15 songs.. but 2 of those songs we'd heard before (man of the year, break bank)..so i only like 5 of 13 new songs..not great #s... soft 3/5
You only like 7 of 15 songs and two of them you already heard. 3//5? :usure:

Album started off underwhelming and ended strong. The standout track was definitely Break The Bank, that's the only joint I felt the desire to run back. As an album it's definitely average, and it would be criminal to even out this in the same breath as GKMC.

I listened to some of it after @Method Man and @Plexxx dropped the links in the group page:myman: I still got a long way to go and will have a real opinion tomorrow. But these hate comments seem over the top:patrice: From the little I heard,it's not as horrendous as some is making it out to be.

Definitely not horrendous. Just average, there's nothing particularly special about this album or Q as an artist to invest in, it doesn't help that the beats were all over the place and the subject matter redundant

:dead: This Los Awesome beat sounds like a Neptunes throwaway from 2002. I can picture Famlay struggle rapping over this shyt

:scusthov: fukking horrible

Yoooooooooo :cenadead:

Anyway, one thing I feel about the album is that the sequencing of the deluxe version seems off. Is it me or is the joint with SZA suppose to go after Los Awesome? :patrice:

It would make sense from a conceptual standpoint since he is talking about selling and doing drugs at the beginning of the album.

Also he goes overboard with the ad-libs this time around as oppose to his two projects. I was like :dahell: at the amount of times I would hear that YAWK YAWK YAWK shyt.

Yeah I'm bumping some of it now and it sounds like a typical q project. I've always considered him a slightly above average artist so I wasn't expecting gkmc 2. I think expectations impact on how people view this album. I'm enjoying it cause i wasn't expecting a Grammy award worthy album. I just wanted dope music to bump:yeshrug: I think those with Kendrick expectations will be let down but they should've known what to expect:manny:

I dunno but I heard three tracks from this project and it sounds like lukewarm trash.

Yeah expectations were bat shyt crazy for this album. The thirst was real for this one!! :russ:

Q didn't help by saying my shyt was better than Kendrick's album. :heh:

Of course that's Q just talking out of his ass like he always does.
