:ehh:I'm Enjoying the album so far. I have the Delxue Target edition.

Jesus Christ. I bought the goddamn deluxe edition off amazon. So target has even more songs on its version I see. This fukking deluxe edition shyt is a shake down. At least make people aware of differing deluxe CDs.

fukkin annoying. No wonder these idiots consider 150k a success.

Gza sold 200k on beneath the surface for perspective.

Not really. shyt was free back them too or on an African carpet. Albums as a concept don't entice anymore. People are in here rearranging the track list to this project. Lololol.

Man you know damn this internet thing is not the same thing as people bootlegging the CDs back in the day. Those type of things weren't available everywhere, any one can jump on the internet and have the best version of the album in terms of quality in a matter of minutes for free.

Napster, merc, bootleg CDs, SOHH and other forums.

Bottom line, the album is a dying concept. And it shows when a guy from camp Kendrick drops three differing versions if his album and sells less than Gza's third album.

Compare napster to downloading the album in one .zip file at 100x the speed it would have taken you to get one song off the album on Napster. Plus only people who were hip to it knew about it, the stopped Napster before it really had a chance to spread worldwide. Everyone literally can do a google search today and get any album they want. It's more convenient then it was back then. Some buy it after hearing it, others don't.

Others don't being the majority. No one likes these albums enough. Certainly not this album. Because it's bad.
nikka you are too old for this shyt perhaps not physically but mentally, hiphop doesn't fukk with you not the other way around. Just like we don't fukk with George Bush, Fox News etc we don't fukk with flabby n sick grumpy nikkas.

And BTNH sold 150k in their 20th week on the billboard.
Please don't tell me that you are too old to consider the effects of technology.

Record sales is a relative measure, what says that selling 30 million is a lot? There's about 7 billion cats on earth. Gza could've sold 200k and debuted at #7 today 200 is guaranteed a top 3 spot and most likely #1. And for your perspective, there were 10 platinum albums in 2012. Eminems MMLP nearly sold out the top 10 alone if we remove Taylor swift and Adele.

Grooveline Pt. 2 is a deluxe edition track? :what:

That track was the dopest joint on the album, Q must be fukking fool for thinking it's not enough for the actual track list, same reason he approved that garbage ass Los Aweosome beat just because pharrell produced it

Certainly my favourite major label album in the past few years. Probably since Ambition / Watch the Throne dropped.

How y'all say this is all over te place then big up setbacks? :wtf: that album suffered from being all over the place, dude had smoker songs, backpack sounding tracks, gangsta shyt, leftover g-unit era production, etc. setbacks had zero cohesion and Q had yet to find his lane. If you want to argue H&C is better, I could give you that, but setbacks? Nah
