schooly d is the first and one of the most official gangsta rappers.

this ngga was pimpin, rockin 5th ave fashions like gucci and louie (and rapping about them) and making songs about weed and guns in 85.

if anyone listens to hip-hop and is over 25 and dont know who he is and fck wit him then they aint a hip-hop head.

i wouldnt doubt it but :cotdamn: what was the last track i heard schooly d on?

i honestly cant remember. he is one of the few pioneers who never dropped an album in the last 10 years. matter of fact i never even checked his albums from 99 and 2000 that he dropped back to back

i think it's pretty much out of sight out of mind, jst like a lot of old school cats who don't get mentioned much. funny thing he's still involved with music a lot more than people would think. i remember hearing/finding out he did a lot of work for Adult Swim shows & shyt like that, lots of tv work i think.
