Stephen Hawking is a big proponent of the multiverse theory. Basically everything that could've possibly happened has happened in alternate universes.

is that what it means? i thought multi-verse theory hypothesized that the conditions of the big bang and immediately following the big bang would have allowed for the simultaneous births of many universes, which have each developed independently of one another. as far as i understand, this doesnt really have anything to do with every possible outcome happening (in a human sense). e.g. u failed your college classes in one life, and passed them in another. all it means is that there is many universes out there and there may or may not be earth-like forms of life out in that universe, but if they do exist, they bear no relation to ours, and indeed their universe(s) are probably ruled by a different laws of physics. correct me if i'm wrong on this; i only watched a few documentaries a few years back and im guessing the field has evolved since then

They lied about us going to the moon too. So we went to the moon in the 1960s with calculator powered computers and kaleidoscope type technology and haven't been back since.
