Evolution is the WRONG word here. This is not evolution. This forum shows a frightening misunderstanding of that phenomenon. Genetic variation due to environmental stresses doesn't mean they are more evolved. White people are not evolved versions of dark skinned ppl

Hyperbole aside, you have a point. But science has a responsibility to the social arena to maintain a certain balance. By using the word evolved, you give credence to quack job studies done that portrayed whites as genetically superior. Every race on Earth is the product of a mutation to an original human. No race on Earth is more evolved than the other. We all have our own mutations that allowed us to propogate in the environment we were in. There's a small but significant difference there.

You aren't too good at maintaining a certain balance yourself. The 'original human' was a product of mutation too, and what she descended from too, and so on and so on....aka evolution.

I never said that, you did. Believe it or not, black populations today are the product of mutations as well. Do you know how big Africa is? It's not a big homogenous super continent. All humans came from an original canvas, whatever that may have looked like. Nobody knows with exact certainty. I find it hard to believe that there is a population of humans somewhere that are exact genetic copies of original homo sapiens.

Also evolution pretty much is reserved for a completely new species. Humans are all part of the same sub species....hence evolution being the wrong word here.

Everybody knows the first humans came from the Nile Rift Valley, spread to other areas across the globe, and the phenotypical traits of different "races" emerged after thousands years of adaptation and genetic drift.
