I think like everything it is a collapsing wave function. Things tilted too far one way and now with mostly the help of HBO, A24 & Blumhouse they’ve revived auteur film making—managed to win best picture with everything everywhere all at once, something that you would never imagine being (made) or nominated in the late 90s early 2000s. No, but we were laughing at him changing his tune about distribution. When The Irishman dropped he was stressing the importance of the cinematic experience. Now he's like nevermind wherever you see shyt, it' is all good. It's a transformation. Probably softening the ground to drop some streaming shyt for his fans.
