I’m wondering if marvel wanted to pull a age of ultron and cram multiverse of madness with a lot of world building limiting the direction of the story.

but it’s most likely got to do with the horror tone that SD wanted to go with cause Feige kept backtracking on that in every interview/presentation I’ve seen.

That’s what I was thinking as well they could be using This movie to set up the next event film which I think will be Hickman version of Secret Wars. That story revolves around the multiverse and different versions of characters.

lol, yeah don't remember a lot of praise for this guy. He seemed passionate about the character so that sucks he is gone. But as far as the horror element I could care less. I don't like horror movies generally speaking.
