Dude only seemed to be relevant in tag-teams. Fire & Ice with Ice Train and Vicious & Delicious with Buff.

He was pretty over in Japan, though.

Norton was a G anc could have played that Anderson like goon role if allowed to shine. He was really good in Japan though. He had this one match against Sting that stuck out. At the time he was beating guys in mere seconds in WCW but sting had dude with a crimson mask. I was like . That Hashimoto match I don't remember though... I gotta look that up.

I wouldn't call their 2 big singles matches "MOTYCs" but they were fun as hell and very different from what you were used to get on Shinya's title defenses.

-Keep in mind, Hashimoto was the IWGP Champ after defeating Fujinami at the Tokyo Dome and 1 month later he had FINALLY beaten Tenryu (in his third try) and established himself as the motherfukking man in Japan, he was an unstoppable force...and then he faced this barrel chested mofo




-The rematch, 11 months after their first encounter Norton pinned Hash in a tag match weeks before this, although my nikka Hashimoto had a plan this time around...

As a fan watching american wrestling (WCW/WWF), I thought he was a scrub.

But once WCW was coke boy vince's property

I saw vids of him from Japan and realized he was L E G I T

So I do have respect for the dude on the strength of his Japanese work but in WCW he was always lame.
