i usually dont feel bad for drug addicts, but i felt bad for storch for some reason. maybe cuz i loved his beats.

i hope he got his head straight, and he releases some more bangers. this guy's talent is unrivaled imo. his beats are straight :blessed:

Random: I thought it was a mouse in the crib. When I heard that squeeking (sp?) noise. Until I saw that monkey in the background.

Not even hating but a lot of people can play the piano. My 8 year old nephew plays that well.

nikka he makes songs on the piano, theres a difference between a player and a composer

Proof that Dr Dre ain't really the best beat maker in hip hop...
because he can play piano? he played for years with The Roots too, does that mean they aren't the best band in Hip Hop any more because he's not with them? there's more to Still DRE than Storch on the keys

Give Storch his props...The best thing about "Still Dre" are the keys...

And that song set off "Chronic 2001" in a major way...

And that's Storch's idea, not Dr Dre's...

Where is "Detox"?

where is Storch's Chronic or 2001 or Efil4 zaggin or No One Can Do It Better or Doggystyle or Eazy Duz It. you cant seriously tell me that a song like Lean Back is as memorable or classic as Deep Cover or California Love

Yo.
That was fly.
One of my friends models himself after storch.
He got to kick it with him last year, I wonder
if he gave him any advice as an aspiring producer.

Playing isn't the same as composing.
There are a lot of highly skilled pianists but I doubt
they can come up with the memorable melody's storch can.

It's the same as dudes who can Rhyme words ( most anyone can do that) but the ones
who can turn rhyming words into a moving piece of art like Reasonable Doubt, GKMC or Illmatic
are on a whole other level.

Storch had a hand in making that album great but ultimately it was Dre's album.
"Still Dre" isn't "Still Storch" now is it ?

It's the same with dudes like Prince and Michael, there were things they couldn't
do as musicians and so someone else had to help mold their ideas into a product.
Doesn't make them less of who they are :yeshrug:
