When Reggie finally had some horses around him the only thing that kept him from a ring were a dynasty Bulls squad and a dynasty Lakers squad. The fact that Klay Thompson is seriously being talked about as being BETTER than Reggie Miller tells me what I need to know about y'all niccas.
This guy never even made an all NBA second team? Don't think he ever made an all defensive team. Made the finals once in the era of the weakest east ever. Does anyone remember anything about Reggie besides two games against the Knicks, one of which was possible because the Knicks threw an inbounds pass right at him and then intentionally fouled him with the score tied?

Homie I'm 36 years old. I grew up following the Pistons and watched all them wars in the Central....was 8-9 years old watching high top fade Reggie light teams up. Klay Thompson is not better than Reggie Miller breh. Point blank period.

we're talking about klay and reggie though, let me know when klay becomes the focus off a team.

It's insulting to compare him to reggie when klay is a beta male on his team and reggie was the alpha.

these kids don't know shyt bruh

they comparing reggie fukkin miller who went into MSG against those 90s Knicks and snatched their fukkin soul against beta Klay who disappeared in the finals last year

:heh:

Chasing Reggie off screens aint nearly the same as chasing Steph.
i understand that, the bulls would do a lot of switching because they had 4 guys between 6'6 and 6'8 on the court not including kukoc who they can play small with against the warriors.

bulls have 3 1st team all nba defensive players. I'm sure they could find a way.

Yeah, no shyt they weren't title contenders. Reggie Miller was their best player. :mjlol:
But the Pacers were often contenders, and one of the top teams in the East. Meanwhile a team with Klay Thompson as its best player...

I mean I get it klay got a ring. But he was pretty bad in the finals. He's not the first option. Really AI is the reason they won the finals.

Yeah defensively the bulls got the horses. Harper/Brown, MJ, Scottie, Rodman. People forget about Toni Kukoc too. Dude was 6'11 with handles and a shot. He was an xfactor a lot of times.

Reggie was the #1 OPTION 90% of his career, and had to face each teams best defender. He was the 1st focus of the defense.

His numbers are better than klay, playoffs numbers are better, he's more clutch, and has more heart than klay ever will.

When klay is leading his own team, only then can we compare him to a HOF like reggie.

Your disrespect is disgusting.

Reggie never took his team anywhere. Stop overrating him. Reggie was a level B all-star. Klay will bust that ass, but Reggie is better FOR NOW, except 3 point shooting, scoring and defense.

How many 50 win seasons did they have under Reggie? They werent one of the top teams, they only finished 1st place once and 2nd place twice during Reggie's 18- 19 year career. He averaged 18 points, 3 rebs and assts. a game for his career and only scored 20, points or better 6 times. They gave the Knicks a couple of classic series and always faltered to the Bulls, always. They got to the finals at the tail end of Reggie's career. He's wildly clutch, yes, no question, but overrated.

All that can be true and he's still levels above Klay Thompson.
