So Steph is already better than prime Gary Payton? Not only better but ">>>" much better? Has the Coli reached a conclusion on this?
so were comparing the career of one player (curry) to the prime of another (payton)
compare apples to apples nikka

2015-2016 Curry >>> 1995-1996 Payton...yes...indisputably

Which backcourts? Do you know who some of those guards were that the Bulls played in the finals?

John Stockton? Magic Johnson? Kevin Johnson? Gary Payton? Clyde Drexler?

nikka those are Hall of fame players. Pippen and Jordan

Magic was on the downside of his career. And who was playing SG next to Magic?

Why you leave out Hornacek? :stopitslime:

Yeah, Payton was at his height, BUT he's not Curry in terms of offensive skill and don't even try to suggest he's close. Why you leave out Hersey Hawkins? :stopitslime:

Kevin Johnson, ok prime. But again, not the same type of player as Curry. And Dan Majerle was a 1 trick pony.....why you leave him out? :stopitslime:

Y'all act like Jordan stuck the best O-player on every squad. That's a lie.

Curry would eat Ron Harper and Randy Brown alive.

And bench-wise, it wouldn't even be close. OTher than Kerr, the Bulls had scrubs on the bench.

I'm not saying GS would win, but it ain't gonna be a 4-game SWEEP. A SWEEP??? Y'all are nuts:camby:

"... Pippen also predicted that he would draw the assignment of guarding league MVP Stephen Curry, while Michael Jordan would guard Klay Thompson.

"I think that my size and length would bother [Curry] a little bit," said Pippen, who also declared that he could limit Curry to fewer than 20 points... ."

Pippen says '95-96 Bulls would sweep Warriors

Btw, Michael Jordan was a 9 time 1st team NBA defender. Pippen was an 8 time 1st team NBA defender. Rodman was a 7 time 1st NBA defender. Jordan won NBA defensive POY award once and Rodman won it twice.

Thorpe in his prime or Draymond, who you taking?

Well since Thorpe has two championship rings and Green only has one. Who do you think that I would take?

Btw, Barkley and Karl Malone have no rings thanks to Jordan and Pippen. I wouldn't take Greene over Barkley or Malone either.

Knicks= Ewing and Oakley were superior defenders than Bogut and Draymond to you?
Jazz= Who was their best interior defender? Malone? :mjlol:
Rockets=Hakeem made up for 2 people on his on but you can't tell me nikkas feared Otis Thorpe
Sixers= What interior defense did they have in the 90's :mindblown:
Spurs= They only had the Admiral for 80% of the 90's.
when i said that the Warriors were weak inside, i wasn't merely talking about defense.

even if i was talking only about interior defense, in what world is Draymond better defensively than Oakley and Malone?
Malone is All-Defensive for 4 years, 3 of them first team. Oakley and Ewing I'm pretty sure has too.

Bulls' main advantage is that MJ and Scottie are both bigger than Steph and could both defend him and at the very least slow him down, no one on GSW could really even slow Jordan down.

Draymond was a handful of votes from becoming DPOY last year and he made all defense first team. He's a top 2 defender in the league today. If you were impressed by Malone's defense we can agree to disagree. Draymond is a more versatile defender than Oakley ever was and I'm sure the stats will back that up.
