he knows Phil Jackson YOU DON'T

Phil Jackson has been said racist things

Phil Jackson being a racist isn't a thing Scotty Pippen started, Phil did to himself by being racist

dumb ass

Pippen doesn't need to lie Phil jackson is already known as a racist
Maybe you missed the second paragraph or you just can’t read. I was responding to the question “why would he lie?” If you used your head for something more than wearing a hat you could have realized what I was saying was that don’t get it twisted, he has a beef with Phil OUTSIDE of any racism accusations. He even labeled that particular incident racist for some unknown reason. But the fact that he did that in a playoff game, basically “I’m not getting my way so I’m taking my ball and going home”, tells you he was in his dam feelings.

So AGAIN, I’m not saying he’s wrong, and AGAIN, Phil made a comment about Lebron people that may very well confirm that. But looking at his behavior when the whole world was watching makes the question why would he lie seem kinda dumb. He hates that Phil did that to him. I can’t spell it out for you any easier.

I mean, Phil is a 70 year old White dude, so it's possible he's racist, but I just don't think Kobe, Shaq, Jordan, Horace Grant, and especially dudes like Craig Hodges and Ron Harper would follow an (overtly) racist dude around.

He needed them, they didn't need him (as much)

Guys talking about he said something about "Melo", like Melo hasn't been a selfish ballhog his entire career.

Guys talking about he called LeBron's crew a "posse", like "posse" is a racist term.

If Pip has receipts and isn't just melting down after his son's death, his wife leaving him, and "The Last Dance" throwing his reputation into a dumpster, then he needs to let us know. :yeshrug:

I'm loving the father of Taco from Odd Future not holding back.

Jordan quit because he couldn't play with Scottie again, don't forget that. Came shuffling back to the wizards and realized what it's like to play without a legit number #2.

Jordan quit because Jerry Krause pushed Phil Jackson out of the door, and he wouldn't play without Phil Jackson as his coach:stopitslime:

It's Not Official, but Jordan Says He Won't Play for Bulls

Michael Jordan all but said he was retiring Thursday while reiterating that he wouldn’t play for any coach other than Phil Jackson, who left the Chicago Bulls last month.

And Jordan's Wizards years are totally underrated .

He had them in the 2nd seed in the East and was averaging 30ppg at 38 years old in the month before he tore his achillies

Phil wrote that book tryna tear down kobe; Pippen was absolutely correct. What happened to "what happens in the locker room stays, we are all a family" ?

:mjpls:

Phil was obviously a racist pos

And Kobe demanded the Lakers rehire Phil, which is how they won 2 more titles after this. :comeon:

I remember phil shytting on Iverson for bringing 'Thug culture" to the NBA

NBA's 'no bling' dress code prompts racism accusations

Everybody over the age of 40 did this, though.

You could find as many old Black dudes saying the same shyt. :yeshrug:

Actually, I think in one of Phil's old books (perhaps written in the 1970s), he made some racially tinged characterizations of certain styles of playing basketball. I think it was along the lines of "white basketball" being "team first, passing, blah blah" and "black basketball" being "selfish, shoot first, hero ball, blah blah"

I didn't know about a lot of this stuff. Makes what Pip and Lebron said about dude seem true.

I had to go to the site for the entire quote. Yea pippin is right please read all of this quotes.
Phil Jackson quotes. ——————————-

In his book Maverick:

"White players are more often willing to run patterns and to work collectively."

"Because of the predominance of blacks in pro basketball, the sport is rapidly disintegrating into a one-on-one sport. There are only five or six NBA teams who play with more than a superficial degree of team unity."

On the Knicks: "The starting front court played white basketball while guards played black basketball."

"Black kids growing up want to be the superstar of their neighborhood. They want to be the toughest kids on the block, the richest or, once they get to the playground, the best one-on-one basketball players. White kids, on the other hand, usually are raised in a more homogeneous environment which provides other outlets for personal expression. They're also constantly being taught the principle of subordinating their own personal glory for the good of the group."

Now to be fair to Phil, he wrote Maverick in 1976, a time when racial politics and views were very different from now. So surely, as the years passed and he grew as a human being, his views changed right?

October 1999: "I don't mean to say [that] as a snide remark toward a certain population in our society, but they have a limitation of their attention span, a lot of it probably due to too much rap music going in their ears and coming out their being."

October 2005 when asked about the dress code: "I think it's important that the players take their end of it, get out of the prison garb and the thuggery aspect of basketball that has come along with hip-hop music in the last seven or eight years."
