Steph finna beast in the Finals this year

alll you haters have been put on notice

KILL YOURSELF
I watched that episode, and I don't think Scottie meant it in a disrespectful way.
He was saying that Curry is a great player, but Durant and LeBron can simply impact the game in more ways on the court. While Curry can dominant offensively, by stretching the floor, and with his facilitating, KD/LBJ can do that + defend+ rebound and have the size to be more physically imposing.
He didn't say it right, but I don't think he meant to be disrespectful.
Be considered dominant while not being athletic at all and getting sonned 2 years in a row on the biggest stage brehs
Steph Curry is NOT DOMINANT. He has a certain aspect of his game the can be dominant but he can be neutralized.
You can't be a dominant player in my opinion and not have a physical component to your game
Don't win finals MVP and be called "dominant" brehs![]()
What holds more weight, the RAW numbers I gave you or you insisting he got exposed/locked up even though the NUMBERS disagreeHere come the stat geeks with the revisionist history. There is a reason that yellow nikka didn't get finals MVP. He was pathetic that finals and let some cac named Matthew Dellevodova lock him up.
Andre Igoudala won finals MVP cause he had a bigger impact.
Steph Curry got exposed that year. And then what happened last year should have eliminated him from any list of the top players in the NBA.
Kyrie Irving owned him.
finally someone that understands nuance and has some sense....
most of these cats in here view life in straight lines
The numbers you gave aren't "dominant"What holds more weight, the RAW numbers I gave you or you insisting he got exposed/locked up even though the NUMBERS disagree
Who gives a fukk about who 10 old cacs voted as MVP? Iggy made key plays but him winning MVP for holding Brawn to 35/13/9 is just as big a joke as Delly "locking up" Steph.
Never said they were, they were a response to the stupidThe numbers you gave aren't "dominant"
Good but not dominant, which is what this thread is about
You think Curry's "dominance" only exists through surface numbers? The numbers you gave aren't "dominant"
Good but not dominant, which is what this thread is about
Can someone break down to me how Steph was sonned when they won the championship?
He averaged 26/6/5 on 45% shooting that series. He was the single most important reason why his team A) made it to the finals to begin with and B) won it
There was a VERY STRONG case for Curry winning MVP over Iggy. I think Iggy only won because he managed to play solid defense on the guy with the best stats in the series.
You can't neutralize someone who can comfortably pull up from 30+ with handles. Stop it Joe.
Can we stop saying this nonsense? Delly was NOT locking up Steph -In the early games int he series, Golden State went on some badddd scoring droughts (thanks in part to Dellevadova locking up Steph). Cavs would be say within 5 but then Iggy (and mo speights) would come down and hit a three and get momentum back on offense. Iggys FMVP was a very non flashy one, it was pure grunt work that paid huge dividends.
Curry had ONE bad shooting performance in the '15 Finals, which was mostly down to him missing easy looks and/or on other defenders. The Cavs centered their entire defense around stopping him and getting the ball out of his hands - it wasn't just Delly - they had 2-3 players in his vicinity regularly all throughout the series. Which is why his teammates were getting so many open looks. Once they started hitting them at a respectable rate, the series quickly came to an end. Same shyt happened in the Finals last season; force the ball out of Curry's hands and force his teammates to shoot.G1 - Curry shot 50%
G2 - Delly gets too much credit for stopping Steph (combination of Curry missing open shots and Cavs team defense)
G3 - Curry shot 50%
G4 - Curry shot 47%
G5 - Curry shot 56% (7-13 from behind the arc)
G6 - Curry shot 42% (and the funny thing is Curry played 43 minutes and Delly only played 25 minutes)
You think Curry's "dominance" only exists through surface numbers?![]()
