So what happens to kids who were born in another country but came here very young and end up being educated hard working people?

Are they getting deported now :dwillhuh:
then they can take that and apply it to bettering the country they're a citizen of

i mean look, i dont have any issue with say that chick whos a valedictorian, but shes part of a systematic problem. and frankly, theres not too many fukkin valedictorians in that group. how many unemployed people looking for odd jobs are there for every valedictorian :heh:

I'd be sympathetic if we weren't talking about like 5 million+ people.

Theres no innocence there.

They can be hard working people in El Salvador and Honduras where they belong.

I see the consensus here but there's a bit of a disconnect on my end. Is the issue here that immigrants are taking jobs from blacks therefore it's a problem or is it this nationalistic view conservatives have where brown people are blamed for all problems? If it's the former than that's an understandable position but then we need to have a deeper discussion on why our black politicians are gung ho for this while it is viewed by their constituents as damaging to their communities. We know that black people can be just as conservative as whites, and when it comes down to it, we have just as much stake in the development of the nation over its history even with our difference in population size.

Then there's another side to the story where immigration is below zero since the great recession so really what we are dealing with here are people who've skated by in the past decades. Plus Obama is sending people back more than any president. So something has to be done for the rest who are really here just to work and do low wage work and some who are actually doing higher wage jobs. If the view here is to send millions back then cool but there's gonna be a huge shift in the way we do things. So for people calling for them to be sent back both blacks and whites have to be sure that they're going to be the one's to take over these low wage jobs. If so then let's do it but if the current trade deals and the way these corporations operate are example they love immigration and hiring illegals for low wages so there's alot of fight there too and they will support the Dems on this with more money than the other side can dream of and even the GOP will have to bow down to that.

Immigration has not been a net zero. Thats not even possible if not even 2 years ago we had all those kids bunching up at the border and causing drama.

Man, this is purely a black issue for me. And illegals have no sovereignty here in my eyes.

Neither party wants to change the status quo on this issue.

Some of the biggest conservative business owners benefit from illegals: hotels, construction, manufacturing, etc.

This is definitely an area where the donor class is in agreement on both sides of the political spectrum.

Immigration policy in America is basically:

Elites and race-baiting victim-card Hispanics

vs.

Everyone else

I prefer American blacks over immigrant blacks.

America has the best blacks.

That usually means the average citizen is getting fukked over.
