Not sure why you'd think this. His entire life has been being unable to prevent the bottom from falling out and failing upward. The Mid West and most of the South (except Texas, somehow) are already in early stages if not full blown recession. Tariffs are going to completely gut the ag sector, which has already been suffering and needing subsidies to exist at all for decades.
He shouldn’t be in the White House a second time breh

But he’s there

I bet a farm bailout is attached to the CR in a deal with the Dems

He shouldn't have been in the White House the first time. But his first run was a disaster. This one is speed running the bottom falling out, he certainly doesn't give a shyt about how it impacts anyone but him, and he's not going to suffer from it. He has no incentive to give a shyt. If he follows the law (lol), he can't run again anyway so he'll just crash the economy and plunder on the way out, the way he's done with every business he's ever run. Or he'll just say fukk it and go full king mode and stay in office.

Why would he give a shyt about the Dems getting the house or senate back? They're still not going to be able to get shyt done even if they had a super majority. But they're not going to get that and the GOP will always do as much harm as they can. Plus with the ownership of SCROTUS, the open crimes they can't stop themselves from talking about on TV every day. The bottom is already falling out in large chunks of the country. Trump is definitely NEVER going to give a shyt about that.

He’s signaling that they’re about to fukk our shyt up.

[Quoted tweet]
Justice Clarence Thomas said the Supreme Court should take a more critical approach to settled precedent, saying decided cases are not "the gospel" and suggesting some may have been based on "something somebody dreamt up and others went along with." abcnews.link/QjDgSGL

Wasn’t overturning Dred Scott a good thing?

@EyeOnStalk
He’s always been this way. The issue is how many other Justices agree with him? Alito for sure. Probably Kavanaugh. Not sure about Gorsuch.

Anyone else find it kind of interesting that the conservative SCOTUS justices, who once espoused the virtues of originalism and judicial restraint, have now seemingly adopted the previously disdained notion of judicial activism since they've become a super majority?

@Gaius_Trey
Awesome, very based

@GirlKW77
For that man to say “something somebody dreamt up” is the most insane thing I've seen.

All this court has done since 2017 is give shadow docket after shadow docket. There is never any constitutionality, any reasoning, just straight up making law as they go.

So who exactly is staffing these GOP farms like the Heritage Foundation if so many pre-Bush2 judges are against the way rulings are coming down?
