I just heard this mentioned on the Heat v Wizards telecast.

Apparently Gortat is the best screen-setter in the NBA and has the most assists off it.

Who else y'all think are at the top of this statistical category??
green most likely.. looks more like a center thing

The Warriors roster, excluding Steph gotta be in 14 of the top 15 spots
:usure:

Curry was #1 in screen assists last season (out of all guards) -

He was also #4 in deflections and #2 in loose balls recovered. And to think nikkas believe he's just a 3-pt shooter. Steph does it all. :wow:

How many of those are from Beal shots though? Wizards offense and Beal skill set on using screens could skew this. Warriors use alot of different screeners and different angles to get Klay and Curry there shots. Wizards screening schemes are very basic and it's pretty much gortat setting most of those screens where Beal rolls off of him and gets the assist from wall. Beal does a good job of slowing down and making sure his guy gets screened off and his feet are always set perfectly before he goes into his shot. And we all know what happens after that. Guys like harden, Westbrook use screens to pass the ball and get into the lane. The lillards and McCollums of the world are more iso guys who can use the occasional screen. Beal on the other hand thrives off screens so I think it's more of a personnel thing.

Ryan Anderson was leading at the end of last week. I’m sure he’s still up near the top.

Except he wasn't. He wasn't even close to being in the top-50 at the end of last week. Why do you continue to make up bullshyt? @GilSho, come and get your mans, he's been making a fool outta himself lately. More than usual.

Gortat screens for Beal yes.. But he also sets screens in pick and roll with wall, beal and Otto Porter. He's a pretty good screener and he puts his teammate and himself in good position afterwards

Steph would be up there too. Their whole offense revolves around off-ball screens and movement, it's why it's such a beautiful offense. There's got to be Spurs players up there too. Cavs players who are on the floor when Korver, Frye, and JR are out there.
