some of us have been building a collection for over a decade. a lot of misc compilations from the mid 00s and shyt. I care more about organizing the music i have in the play music cloud than on itunes

there used to be a tool from back in the day that would find all the missing album art in itune but it stopped working

any still out there?

and how do we find the total number of songs/albums in this newer itunes? :beli

i've built & rebuilt my collection for more than a decade as well. started with 300 cd's, lost all my music when i got to 40Gb and had to start all over again. luckily i still had the cd's. every tiem i download an album i import it into itunes and go through it, rename all the songs, get artwork and make sure it's how i like it. i don't fukk with compilations too much i have a bunch of soundtracks & sample sets and any misc tracks from artists go straight into a "mix" album for that artist or into my big mix "album" on itunes for one off artists .
