My next place of residency after I move from Vegas.
I like screwed music (on certain tracks anyway) but the style becoming synonymous with Houston and being so dominant there I think hurt the music scene over the long run(became about it too much).....cuz in all reality houston has always just had dope mc's and music period.
Scarface, the Ghetto Boys, Big Mike, UGK Devin, etc., all went hard whereas screwed music should have been an icing on the cake imo(a lil gimmicky). Is what it is tho, rest easy DJ Screw.
