Loved the show and will def peep this. Only concern is that I hope they do a better job juggling the whole "old cast plus the next generation of hospital staff" thing better than they did in the last season.
To be fair, ABC fukked that up. They told Bill Lawrence that the show was canceled, so he had all the writers join Cougar Town. Then they decided to bring it back so the final season had a bunch of writers that weren't connected to the show at all so that's why the show didn't feel the same. For example, the JD/Turk bromance turned a little weird like the new writers had never watched the show and turned it damn near gay.

Damn I didn't know this.

To be fair, when it got bad I completely tapped out, so I might have seen that fact and just ignored it, like I did the end of the OG series.

I hope it's good, and I'm not expecting it to be as good as the OG high points. I just don't want them to fumble a comeback with bad TV.

Just be decent, let the actors find the characters again, and I'll stick with it for nostalgia's sake.

I’m not so much focused on how they look. Its been almost TWENTY YEARS since the OG series ended, of course most of them are going to look old, although Donald Faison still looks young we all know what thats about.

Whats important to me is the writing. Bill Lawrence was the creative force behind the OG series and with him not returning as showrunner my concern is the writing and plotting. I hope they really took their time to make sure they captured the essence of what made the show special in the first place. Just like how Saladin Patterson was able to do with the King of The Hill continuation. Update the times while keeping the charm and idiosyncrasies of the characters intact is of paramount importance.

Its gonna be tough imo opinion because everyone is married so they gonna have to introduce new characters they can do romance angles with.

They gonna have to intro the grown up kids and not just focus on the oldheads. They showed glimpses of the possibilities in S9 but the lead girl fuccking SUCKED.
