I finally watched a couple episodes tonight

It’s meh :ld:

It hurts seeing Dr Cox just be on some “you take over, it’s your turn now” :flabbynsick:

I’ll say this

These new characters are better than the new characters were on the Season 9 of Med School spin off. That’s not saying much but they’re tolerable.

I don’t know, i don’t except the show to even come close to touching what it once was because it can’t and I’m trying not to judge it off the original, but it’s rather meh.

There brief flashes of what made the show special when JD, Turk, Cox, Elliot, interact but it honestly leaves me still just waiting for it to all come together and maybe it will with more time.

I wish Cox stayed as the Chef of Medicine
Thats my only complaint, Dr Cox was there to be abrasive and there is none of that now on the show.

He’s straight I thought? But yeah that was a not a role that needed to be woke’d. maybe he didn’t want to come back to the show for more than an episode

Asian dude seems to be pans/bi. In the second episode it showed that he slept with a couple both the boyfriend and girlfriend.

The actor who plays Dr Cox couldn’t come back full time because he’s a regular on another comedy series created by Scrubs creator Bill Lawrence called Roosters which is on HBO. So for this season he’s only on three episodes.

The actress who plays Carla is also a series regular on a show called High Frequency so she’s only in 4 episodes.

The Carla thing I knew about and they handled it well so far (didn’t watch tonights ep yet).

Had no idea he wasn’t on due to that, makes sense but still a bummer
