Overall I’m happy with it

I wish Judy reyes and John C Mcginley could b there the whole time but both have new shows they’re working on

The interns will take some getting used to. Same thing as season 8 interns. We didn’t watch them grow like JD and his intern crew. It’s also gonna take some getting used to, having a show that premiered in the early 2000s and was pretty much over in 2009 (what season 9?). One of the interns is an influencer and another made an onlyfans joke.

But it’s great seeing the main guys back, even if it was for just one episode (so far)

First two episodes were good but felt a tad bit rushed. The chemistry amongst the cast is still there especially amongst J.D. and Turk, i’m hoping the relative lack of Dr Cox this go round won’t be so bad as he and J.D.’s dynamic was a key thing to the OG series success. Humor is still there, writing is good and you can tell everyone in the cast is giving it their all, no half-assing.

The interns as of now don’t really add or subtract much of anything to the show’s quality. They’re just kind of…there. The interns in the Med School spinoff had more personality so we’ll see how they incorporate them into the rest of the season. The HR chick is aight but the newest addition who made the most impact was the asian doctor who hates J.D. his line deliveries were hilarious.

I laughed several times throughout and the heart of the show is still there so i’m going to give the return eps a combined 7.5/10. Definitely good enough for me to want to continue watching the season and hopefully they do a few tweaks to make the interns presence worthwhile.

This is true. I legit dont know any of their names after watching the episodes.

It might be because they can’t give them nicknames though. :russ:

Joe
#1
The Todd
The Janitor
Snoop Dogg Resident
Hooch
Etc.

Nicknames always made the secondary characters stand out
