RUSS PLAYED FOR THE HAWKS
LONGER THAN ALL OF THOSE GUYS

Yeah, honestly it's weird to me but they don't fukk with him like that. Like he overstayed his welcome or something.

I might be wrong but that's what it feels like in terms of who would get Seahawks honors first. That might change when he's completely done though

ok breh you right. Russ was a bum and doesn’t deserve to get his number retired. He didn’t do shyt in Seattle :unimpressed:
Nah don't do this now, defend your stance. You said he's the GOAT Seahawk and other names were listed. People were saying Russ got carried by that defense too.

A black man taking that number is ridiculous and lowkey some c00n shyt. I don't expect much from BM these days but in what world does a Super Bowl winner and 10x Pro-bowler not deserve to have his jersey retired?

He did everything he could. So, I'm gonna do what I can in this number and make it special on defense in my own way."

Most likely gonna be underwhelming if anything. Blaze ya own trail brehs :francis:

Idk breh I never been to Seattle in my life or ever met a Seahawks fan. Them nikkas were irrelevant till Russ started turning up. I know defense wins titles but he wasn’t Trent Dilfer. He was legit one of the best QBs in the league during his run there.

I might be wrong on him being the best Seahawks player ever but a dude like that needs his number retired. Matt Ryan didn’t win shyt here but he turned our team around & made us at least respectable and he’ll get his number retired.

I feel like if a QB is one of the best in the league, spent a majority of his time with the team and won a ring is a player who deserves his number retired

He’s the greatest Seahawk ever fym

:ohhh:

Better than:

Steve Largent
Cortez Kennedy
Walter Jones
Bobby Wagner

Those guys were/will likely be first ballot HOF games

So evaluations are binary? A player is either a bum or the greatest player in franchise history? Come on, son. Move from me with that juvenile mindset.

the worse of the jersey number stuff is what Abdul Carter doing
wanted to wear 56, LT said nope
wanted to wear 11, Phil Simms family said nope
You really need to potentially make the same level of impact on the franchise and play on the other side of the ball.

Him wearing 56 or any player wearing a legendary number at the same position is lame as hell, but with the different number rules these days, I think the crossover element makes it dope. There's never been a #3 on defense in Seattle ever so it's some intergenerational shyt off that alone.

No WR should ever wear Julio's #11 in Atlanta again, but I wouldn't mind if Jalon Walker wears it :manny:
