They are thinking outside the box so that they can keep him, Marshawn, and Bobby Wagner all happy. This has nothing to do with Russell Wilson being exposed.

Yep and his owner is worth billions and billions and billions. If he can come up with a plan to not get in a salary crunch they can keep the guys because money ain't a thing with paul Allen.

The good thing for them is that Russel won't up and leave to go play for another team...due to you know...him not being a very accurate QB...or him not having an elite running game...or him not having an elite defense...

Seahawks been playing chess with Baby Hair all along..."That's right Russ make one read and run...that's right Russ scramble out of the pocket at the slightest hint of pressure...that's right Russ have 30% of all your completions be on broken plays...Hey Russ by the way here is a 3 year 65 million dollar deal with 28 million guaranteed...oh you don't like it okay you can go out into the market and see if you can do better...I am sure their are plenty of teams who want a guy who completes barely 60% of his passes...oh no Beast mode and the defense will be staying in seattle they will not be coming with you...good luck if you want this contract just come in and sign it we will leave it on the table"

If anyone knows fruad QBs it's the Cowboys :whew:

Staubach Hall of Famer...

Aikman Hall of Famer...

Romo Hall of Famer...

Romo's worst passing season is so far ahead of Baby Hair best passing season if you looked at the numbers you couldn't even tell they played the same position...

You'd be like..."why seattle got this running back throwing it so much?"

Actually Russel is on his way to becoming the old Romo...

Turned it over at a historic rate in the NFC championship game but got bailed out by his defense...

Through the game ending int in the superbowl on a situation that was going to be a guaranteed touchdown if they ran it

DangerRuss indeed

Nothing but bitter Cowboy and 49er fans in this thread. Haven't won anything in over 20 years so you got to hate on other teams.

They are thinking outside of the box because they've already offered Marshawn more money. If Marshawn eats into Russell's contract they've got to work things out to make everyone happy.

For the record Russell doesn't deserve 20 mill and neither does any other QB. Sad what the going rate is for QB's. Handicap your whole franchise over one player doesn't make sense.

3 weeks ago word was he was a lock to be the highest paid QB in NFL history.

Today, they're thinking outside the box

Im not even a Hawks fan- but you spouting all types of foolishness...

2012-2014 Seasons R.Wilson:

63.5% completion/ 72Tds vs. 26ints/ 7.8 YPA/ 98.6 Passer Rating

I would say those are some damn good numbers. But you make it sound like Russ is Sanchez 2.0.

Russel Wilson is a good QB.

He's just not what they make him out to be

The Seahawks are being forced to think "outside the box" because they have the most talent in football because they've drafted unbelievably well. It's a good problem to have.

But you're refusing to acknowledge how before the SB it was a known they were gonna break the bank for #3.

After it, now they have to get crafty.

I think those last 2 games made them question how much they really value Wilson at.

2 games(and he played fine in the SB) don't change a teams perception of the player. Especially a team that has pushed all of the right buttons over the past 4 years or so.
