Carlos Watson isn't a rich white man and Trump commuted his sentence the day before he was set to serve a 10 year sentence for fraud involving his startup Ozy Media. Watson's commutation also removed the $96 million in forfeiture and restitution that was part of his sentence.

Watson was a white collar criminal.

Securities fraud and sh*t like conspiracy to commit wire fraud is the kinda sh*t the bum in the WH relates to. He's done a lot of that himself. Puff is charged with sex trafficking and all kinds of sh*t politicians don’t like being attached to. Not lying to investors. It's apples and oranges.

Like most have said, Watson getting his sh*t commuted was politically motivated. The dude doesn't have any benefit in doing the same for Puff. There's literally nothing to gain from that. At all.

I was responding to the claim that Trump is only pardoning or commuting White men like himself. I still think it’s possible given he had a relationship with Puff for years and I think Puff helped advise his campaign last Fall. If that Cassie hotel video hadn’t come out, I would be very confident that Puff would receive a commutation from Trump. IMO that’s his main hurdle.
