Puff fooled the public into thinking him and BIG were closer than they actually were. People thought they were tight tight and long time friends but it was just business. BIG wanted to rap and have an album and puff made it happen but reality that's just what it was. We saw the same with Dame and Jay and they had a relationship much longer than Big and Puff (obviously due to Big dying) but it was business more than anything else.
Wait until you find out who Suge was talking to during his infamous source award speech :wow:

Not Rosenberg, Rosenblum. What's ill is she later became a huge A-list promoter and managed Flex and his DJ squad. Also worked with Puff for the white parties...and we all know the rest.

"As the crowd grew ugly, city investigators say, Sean Combs, the promoter, and Jessica Rosenblum, a cashier, became worried in the lobby about the day's proceeds, and at 6:50 P.M. Ms. Rosenblum picked up the cash trays and retreated to the gym, followed shortly by others."

The implication is that Puff invited Pac to the studio that night knowing what would happen when he showed up.
That implication is completely wrong. Pac himself talked about other people inviting him to the studio. I believe it was Henchman that was connected to Pac that he is referring to as being "some rough characters" that he knew. Puff wasn't involved in inviting him. And why would Puff invite him to somewhere where him and all his artists are going to be, where they all had drugs and guns on them upstairs. That's just putting heat on his biggest artist for no reason. Puff was supposedly being extorted too so the Pac shooting could've easily been a warning to Puff as well. Puff's dirty as hell but I think he's clean on that one.

Can you take us back to that night at Quad Recording Studios in Times Square?

The night of the shooting? Sure. Ron G. is a DJ out here in New York. He’s, like, “Pac, I want you to come to my house and lay this rap down for my tapes.” I said, “All right, I’ll come for free.” So I went to his house—me, Stretch, and a couple other homeboys. After I laid the song, I got a page from this guy Booker, telling me he wanted me to rap on Little Shawn’s record. Now, this guy I was going to charge, because I could see that they was just using me, so I said, “All right, you give me seven G’s and I’ll do the song.” He said, “I’ve got the money. Come.” I stopped off to get some weed, and he paged me again. “Where you at? Why you ain’t coming?” I’m, like, “I’m coming, man, hold on.”

Did you know this guy?

I met him through some rough characters I knew. He was trying to get legitimate and all that, so I thought I was doing him a favor. But when I called him back for directions, he was, like, “I don’t have the money.” I said, “If you don’t have the money, I’m not coming.” He hung up the phone, then called me back: “I’m going to call [Uptown Entertainment CEO] Andre Harrell and make sure you get the money, but I’m going to give you the money out of my pocket.” So I said, “All right, I’m on my way.” As we’re walking up to the building, somebody screamed from up the top of the studio. It was Little Caesar, Biggie’s [the Notorious B.I.G.] sideman. That’s my homeboy. As soon as I saw him, all my concerns about the situation were relaxed.

50 is just the flavor of the month. His time will come. Yall are forgetting that Diddy was once americas favorite a$$hole producer. Being an a$$hole was his brand. We tuned in every week to watch him punk the making the band dudes. We laughed when Dave Chappelle mocked him. He played as himself in that get to greek movie. Hod the lox crying about their contracts on the radio.

Diddy never switched up.. everyone else did. Same stuff folks acting so offended about are the same things that made him popular at the time. 50 is no different.. 10 years from now when they come for him folks will be talking about 50's well documented antics threatening women, leaking their sex taps, links to murders and extortion.. etc..

You’re missing the fact that, unlike Puff, 50 revels in being the “bad guy villiain” and that’s been his entire brand from the jump. Puff has always wanted to be liked.

“They not gonna like this”
“I know”

Whatever 50 says, he just falls back on “the character” and he’s never been proven to not be “tough” and back up what he says in real life. There’s no “fake tough guy” and nobody can “pull his card” the last 25 years.

Pajeet seen diddy kicking the shyt outta Cassie and said it looked like 2 people in deep love.

:mjlol: :snoop:

Not only that part of the trial was Puff blackmailing Cassie saying if she left or didn't do what he said he would release videos of her. Deepak aint give a fukk about none of that :mjlol: . He probably went back home and felt justified in the arranged marriage to his 16 year old 2nd cousin :mjlol:

What are you talking about? They can bring 50 down at anytime. He is corporate. Most of his wealth is tied up in his business ventures that can be canceled. Puff named his company bad boy. One of his biggest songs is hate me now. He has always played into the villian role until recently when he switched his name to love.

Diddy was never "Americas favorite a$$hole".

Its actually weird how he rebranded with Ciroc and the revisionist history that followed it.

Puff was seen as a taker of the culture...
folks always saw him as a shady character that only leeched off people.
Basically Drake with more money and power.

Ciroc was where he was able to turn that image around and how younger folks know him.

50 has been blackballed several times in his career.
The most recent case was his falling out with jimmy iovine....
but he was able to come back with Power and other Tv shows.
