I don't know about the "rep" system since I don't think I have access to it (at least, being new, I don't seem to), but the dap system on this forum appears to function for the purpose of allowing members to express agreement with what someone said on a discussion board. Last I checked, Facebook isn't a message board designed to curate dialogue between a community of shared interests. It's an outlet to advertise to the world what you're doing.

I didn't know that you were new and that you were trying to get a grasp on the coli's rep system. You see, it's all very simple and basic. When you have rep above 0, you can grant rep to others or even generously give out negs. Oh, what is a neg? Well my good chap, I figure it's better to show than to explain.

Obviously, my description of a forum was in the most fundamental and generic sense possible, to highlight the difference between it and Facebook. And a FB thumbs up is not the same as a dap, since what's being dapped/liked are far different. People aren't posting photos of their dinner and vacation on The Coli, because we don't give a fukk. It's a message forum, a community engaging in dialogue, contributions to which sometimes receive daps from those in agreement.

You gotta actually delete it permanently. Deactivating it doesn't really do anything. There was a time you couldn't delete it permanently but that passed and you could. I know cuz I requested mine deleted in 2013

But, on to another, more pressing component to this story. White people are enjoying billions by becoming masters of the universe with these social media platforms that millions of black people use yet don't receive a dime from. And if Tariq or any other black entrepreneur tried to create their own platform to compete, many of those same black people would stay put and continue generating the clicks that eventually line the pockets of Facebook executives. This is a company that had 20 black people (most likely gay males, lesbians and/or bedwenches) among tens of thousands. fukk this dude, fukk Zuckerberg, and fukk Facebook. I agree the coli is not as personal as FB.

But when I read about nikkas talking about reps, daps and platinum threads, that leads me to believe they get the same ffeeling a FB like gives
