Sean Price
When Sean Price passed away two years ago, the Brownsville, Brooklyn, emcee left behind an unfading legacy as one of rap's elite wordsmiths, lauded for his sharp wordplay as well as his flair for humorous punchlines.

His legacy was strengthened with the release of his posthumous album, Imperius Rex, and today (Nov. 24), Billboard is exclusively premiering "Refrigerator P," featuring Small Professor and P's partners-in-rhyme Rock (of Heltah Skeltah), and DJ Revolution.

For the album version of "Refrigerator P," P flies solo over the drum-laden, Dan the Man-produced cut. On the original version of "Refrigerator P," Small Professor lays down a triumphant, gritty beat and makes way for P's brash yet witty lyricism to shine. "The shyt you holding is dead colon cancer the cream," he raps. "The slugs move everything around me, S.M.E.A.M/ Huh? What the f--k that mean?"

Later, P continues his rampage on the second verse and raps about being "rap's divine father." "Can't escape your faith, great, who can I run to?" he says, referencing '90s R&B group Xscape's classic "Who Can I Run To."

To coincide with the single, Fat Beats will be releasing "Refrigerator P" on vinyl in honor of Record Store Day (Black Friday).
