Yea. They definitely could’ve argued self defense. He was choking her. His fingerprints would’ve been on her neck. And it was three to four people there to corroborate the story. Them not going to the cops and going down this fukked up path was completely unnecessary but I guess that’s the point. They were fukked up people from day one

they could have even abruptly left the “kidnapped” girl at the house with the dead body and let her deal with it. lol her only defense would have been “idk how that got there” and the group would have been long gone.

Dory's friends were imploring her to claim self-defense but she was in this head space where she was intoxicated by danger. She wanted all the drama that went along with hiding a murder.

There would also be no physical evidence linking her to a murder. They all went out and ate at a restaurant together etc. her story of other people doing it would have been easily proven.

I can see that. She was wilding, just like when she got out the kidnappers car and went back. Or when she went back to his house. Shorty was intoxicated with danger like you said and had some fukked up Stockholm syndrome.

I really think the writers were signaling that they wanted to kill Dory by the way the last season ended. She was dying with no possible way of rescue until literally the last 2 minutes of the show. He being alive was just tacked on to make it not completely morbid.

When the kidnapping plot started to drag on all I could do is make the face. Show completely went downhill once Chip showed up
