Then skip the tasso tho. I only use liquid smoke for turkey necks cause the lack of fat on it doesn't get smokey enough. But I also use Cajun turkey sausage for additional smoke flavor. I Sautee about 2 links and then Sautee the Trinity in its fat. The flavor is unmatched.

I know some people who add liquid smoke to erything. I got 3 variety on hand ..Mesquite, Hickory and applewood

Years ago..I used to work with this military white boy. He used to complain to me that his wife can't cook too good. Saying she don't season meat the right way. I shook my head. I told my mother about thus..she makes a ton of food during the holidays..she felt sorry for him and I gave him one if her plates...her yams....if she sold her candy yams nationally, she would be famous. Definitely.
