teams in the sec get artificially ranked high, because they beat other sec teams, who were already artificially ranked high or won some games over nobodies to get a good win-loss record and be ranked so a team can claim it as a "good victory". rinse and repeat every year

love this kind of worthless stat as if it means anything. mizzou was a middling team in the big 12, played for big 12 title twice its whole existence in that conference. playing for sec title twice in 3 years, yet they couldnt even beat indiana. conference is top heavy like it always is, doesnt mean bottom two thirds are any good tho. yet they get sucked off and propped up like they are, every single year. every year

This. I would think after mizzou and a&m came through and were able to succeed in the SEC the rhetoric would tone down about how the sec is so much better when two big 12 teams came in there and did work.
