Still makes no freaking sense. So the highest ranked team shyt on the top like dude from mortal kombat? I would say 6 like the NFL and the two highest ranked teams get a bye.

Top 5 teams plus 1 mid major with top 2 getting a bye. To me it places value in finishing top 5 & rewards top 2 teams for finishing the regular season there.

Take the next 24 teams and make them conference show downs. Top remaining teams pitted against each other... Like the conference champs that don't make it... Then the conference runner ups. Next allow fans to vote match ups they would like to see & then the committee debates them.

we were. 7 straight national titles. most NFL drafts picks year in and year out. the last 10 years have been dominated by the SEC.

hence the reason everyone in the country is so happy this year. when you've been on top for as long as we have, resentment grows.
