TEAMS win championships. Obviously he’s no D-Wade, but aside from those first couple of years with Shaq and the years with Bron and Bosh, Wade didn’t get out of the 2nd round either. If Cleveland were healthy, I’m sure they would’ve put up a better fight. He was the only one who showed up.

Mitchell was the only one who showed up, load manage in the playoffs brehs :mjlol:

Them cats left him out to dry for 2 games, he's the only one who came to play. And we know regular season hoops is different from playoff level basketball, they needed to be 100% for every game against this Pacers team if they were gonna win.

I didn’t say that he shouldn’t get any blame. I’m saying it’s tiring that it’s the extent of the discussion.

The reason it’s so fresh in my mind is because this same poster has another topic trashing SGA for the Thunder POTENTIALLY losing a series after a single game against the Nuggets.

Folks can’t do shyt but single out a single person and put all the onus on him.

THE OP IS A LeGTB POSTER

Except I did watch. I ain't ignoring shìt. He's had the same streakiness during healthy post seasons throughout his career and doesn't have the all-around versatility and size to impact the game outside of scoring.
Streakiness? This dude is one of the best scorers in playoff history that’s just a fact. None of those Utah teams were true contenders and it wasn’t because of him.

There are plenty of bigger, more versatile players sitting at home right now.

MAKE OPEN SHOTS.

DUDES WERE TOO SHOOK

I agree. That was true for game 5. nikkas played scared af until Ty Jerome made a couple desperation threes and they woke up.

But generally speaking, when you have the ball in your hands as much as Spida does, or any franchise player does, you gotta make sure your teammates touch it in the flow of the offence and not as a last resort or they will always fold when it matters. Happens all the time.

HE WASN'T ON THAT THOUGH

HE HAD THE SECOND LOWEST
SHOT ATTEMPTS PER GAME
OF HIS CAREER THIS SEASON.

HE AVERAGED 5 DIMES AS A SG
AND GARLAND THE PG AVERAGED 7.

HE JUST HAD TO TURN UP
IN THE INDY SERIES BECAUSE nikkaS
WERE MISSING OR SCARED

Yall kill me with this faux outrage when I clearly said this:
Ultimately I'm just having fun with this thread
If we keeping it all the way live I've had plenty of legit basketball discussion on here, and a bunch of inferior shyt posters have said less. Its a message board, but taking away the fact that I already said im bullshytting here;

I stand behind actual constructive criticism for any superstar player. Mitchell's limitations show up in the playoffs, and several pther posters have already mentioned them, so I won't re-hash. He's not the reason the Cavs lost.......but is he a guy they can truly win with, is a legitimate question about him that is based on more than this one series. This certainly isn't the first time he's had a DPOY teammate and a purportedly elite coach, so we can talk about those guys' limitations as well (Carlisle coached circles around Atkinson and Atkinson's team in comparison looks mentally soft)...

As well as we can criticize the supporting cast...

Mitchell himself isn't immune from critique any more than anyone else at his level, with fair consideration to what his teammates also didn't provide. Unless you think his game is maxed out and he has no room for improvement....he's fair game as well, if we having a real discussion about he and his squad.

But I already said my intial post was in jest so dont come in here bytching about it...
If KAT, OG, and Mikal get injured he’s going home.

I didn’t say that he shouldn’t get any blame. I’m saying it’s tiring that it’s the extent of the discussion.

Let someone call you know who out you’d have a heart attack :pachaha:
This sounds good to say but its false and I'm nowhere near one of the guys who defends LeBron at every turn and corner...

This is false too but if we play that game then you certainly aren't immune given who you stan for (Dame, Butler, Rose, etc) and the wild defenses you've put up for these guys when compared to Steph and others...

The difference with me is because I really talk ball in real life, when I hear someone mention a player, I dont assume its a veiled attempt to cover someone else--->I take the statement(s) as about the player you say its about...

Otherwise this forum is extremely, extremely limited on posters with no bias, you certainly dont fall in that category 🤣 you can count on one hand the posters here who have a consistent standard for players and I'm clearly one of em, it just sounds good to say if I'm talking about a guy it has to be about LeBron...

Get out and touch grass...

If we being really real, Garland is the issue. He’s too small in the playoffs when the physicality turns up.

You can swap Garland and Mobley for Luka and KAT and they would be a poor man's version of the Heatles, let's not get ahead of ourselves shytting on Spida :unimpressed:
