This one may be obvious but if you want your Drs appt. to be right on time, ask for the first appt. of the day or the first appt. after lunch.

Also, if your Drs office has PAs or RNs and you only wanna see the Dr. (I've seen PAs/RNs that were better than Drs but some ppl feel uncomfortable seeing anyone but the Dr.) then make sure you ask to be put on the Dr.'s schedule specifically.

I've seen a lot of patients think they were seeing the Dr. and were actually on the PAs schedule the whole time.

Video game designers don't know how to play video games.

Half of level designers cannot beat the levels they design. There is an entire department at Activision & Electronic Arts at the highest level of quality assurance department known as embedding, where you literally sit at the same desk as the level designer, and every 15mins to 1/2 hour you play the level changes he just programmed cause he can't do it himself.

There's no such thing as confidentiality and we would clown folks behind the scenes. Especially patients who came in for STI related issues. Depending who you were and what your medical issue was, best believe your private information got circulated around the hospital. "Hospital gossip."

Seen and heard with mine own eyes and ears when I went to visit my gf at the hospital she works at...her coworkers were blabbing away in the lounge where i was chillin talking about a patient that had 2 specific stds...shyt was wild to me

College admissions is a joke as they are unable to grab quality students, so they've lowered the bar to allow any students with a pulse to a university... The students can't hang and drop out owing non-dischargeable loans.

But the university already made their bread off the student, so no fukks given.

To make this even more insidious, many children in public schools from low-income are not taught to think critically, but just what is needed for state testing to fund the local BOE's pockets. So when little Steve from PS 23 can only read at 6th grade level and he is a graduating senior that will be taking 12 credits in the fall, what do you think is going to happen?

Also, I'm AMAZED at how disorganized sh*t is at many Fortune 500 companies.

40 yr old Dudes on my last job would make huge paper airplanes out of drawing paper and throw them around the office at each other.

I never partook in that fun for obvious reasons

But it was hilarious to see.

That's actually pretty understandable. When you work really hard to achieve a position of security it seems natural that you tend to slack off when you reach that goal.

I heard nothing but the opposite about some of these lean startups

We absolutely knew what we were doing was illegal. We were making so much money, we didn't care. We knew the gravy train would run out soon, so we just wanted to get as many loans through as possible before the feds came knocking.

Most IT people don't know shyt about computers especially if they work on a help desk....they Google most of the problems and if they cant fix it they call another help desk to find the answer...most computer problems can be solved by simply holding the black button down for 10 seconds and clearing the data out and restarting the PC.....never buy weed in large quantities from a middleman.....he normally jacks the price up anywhere from 2-500 bucks...... Easiest way to spot if he is a middle man is if he says he has to get back to you when you ask him a quote or he just ran out he waiting on his man yadda yadda....

I don't even know what "IT" means anymore but Help Desk Support is just customer service in the IT department.

And I've known developers with 20+ years of experience use google and stack overflow for all of their questions. Using google is kind of required

Oh yeah and if you work in retail you know there is no such thing as a "SALE", except at very specific times of the year.

Prices are inflated way up and then "marked down" to the price they would have asked you for anyway. It's psychology
