this.

I think they just felt the need to pass since they were down more than what they are used to being down by. Kinda panicked in a way. Henry was killin it, but everytime they went down more than 1 score, they felt the need to pass. And ole boy on OU was lunchin Bama's left tackle.

Stoops was counter-coaching Saban like a mother fukker.

I'm convinced that he was telling the right side of his OL to fukk up every now and then to give Bama the impression that they were weak on that side. Their RG was playing RT, and lining up like he was uncomfortable. There were a couple of false starts and lining up like a fukk tard. Then, they would hit a screen to that side, or lure the Bama D to lick their chops and bull rush the right side and they would bubble screen or exploit a giant hole in the Bama D.

Another mistake that I think really screwed Bama came late in the game. It was the final drive by OU, 3rd and long deep in their territory, and they ran a screen or some short dump off out of the backfield because Bama rushed the right side (it worked every time). Clinton-Dix, a guy who the ESPN announcers were verbally BJing for his football IQ, has the bead on the ball carrier, and looks like he's going to wrap him up a good 2-3 yards short. Instead, Clinton-Dix LOWERS HIS HELMET and WHIFFS. I don't know if he was trying to put his helmet on the ball and force a turnover, or if he was trying to deliver a momentum jarring hit to make sure the OU player was stopped in his tracks, but he missed big time. OU player kind of rolls and manipulates himself past the first down marker through one or two more half assed gang tackles. Drive carries on, Bama loses more time and I think burned their timeouts.

Its hard to judge bowl games especially when motviation is a factor for a team of Bamas caliber playing in a meaningless game

With that said none of those players stood out except the olineman with a long last name and it wasnt in a good way

The freshman running back obviously did. Yeldon is meh. Mosely sucked. Mccaron was obviously terrible.

The WR Cooper is good though.

Nope.

Game ain't meaningless. I HATE this talking point. You think a whole roster of seniors want to go out with an L? Not to mention all of the underclassmen that want to be the next in line OR going to the draft? You think they want their boys (seniors) going out with an L? They made it to Bama because of their competitiveness. It's backwards for them to all of a sudden not care. I promise you they go hard whether it's scrimmages or just regular practice. The pure and simple fact is that Bama was overrated this year. OU beat them straight up. If it was a matter of motivation then Bama would've crushed the buildings after half, but it was even the entire 2nd half.

This rant ain't just at you. The built in excuses are ridiculous. The media did the same thing. It pissed me off hearing Saban run with it. He should've just said they beat us, but he went into motivation and shyt. That's his job to get them motivated.

I don't buy into the opinion that Bama wasn't motivated. That's bullshyt. They got outschemed, out hustled, and were caught off guard by some things OU had never shown before.
